The Birth of Chefs Life
Chefs Life was born out of Chef Brian Malarkey’s desire to simplify the cooking oil category and make cooking more accessible. In early 2021, Malarkey launched the brand after a series of virtual cooking classes he conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the pandemic took hold in Spring 2020, Malarkey began hosting virtual cooking classes to raise funds for charity. Over the course of 100+ classes, he was struck by how many people struggled with understanding the complexities of the cooking oil aisle. This experience led him to create Chefs Life—a brand aimed at demystifying cooking oils and making high-quality options available to everyone.
