Looking for a new pork chop recipe? Chefs Life is kicking off grilling season strong, with a savory marinade that can be whipped together faster than you can say "coconut aminos". Eat this chop solo or pair it with a nice salad from elsewhere on our feed. Have you been grilling this season? Sound off below!
Ingredients:
2 lbs bone in pork chops
1 inch ginger, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 small shallot, minced
1 small bunch chives, finely chopped
2 tsp honey
2 tbsp coconut aminos (or soy sauce)
1 tbsp Chefs Life Blending Oil
1 lime, juiced
Sea salt to taste
Cilantro, for garnish
Method:Â
In a small bowl, combine the ginger, garlic, shallot, chives, honey, coconut aminos, Blending Oil and lime juice. Whisk to combine. In a large bowl, coat the pork chops in the marinade and let rest for 1 hour minimum, or up to 2 hours. When ready to cook, heat the grill to medium high. Sear each side of the pork chop, until the internal temperature reaches 140. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5-10 minutes. Serve sliced or whole, garnish with cilantro and a sprinkle of sea salt.
