Leftover Candy Cookie Skillet

Don't throw away your Halloween candy! Make this giant skillet cookie instead and become a proud member of the #nowastekitchen team. All candies welcome, even you, candy corn.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup salted butter, melted, then cooled

1 egg, beaten

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 cup flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 - 1.5 cups chopped leftover Halloween candy

Method:

In a large bowl, combine the sugar, melted butter, egg and vanilla. Whisk until all ingredients are well incorporated. Add in the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until smooth and no lumps remain, about 2-3 minutes. Toss in your leftover candy (we used candy corn, Snickers, Reeses, and M&Ms) and fold into the batter.

Use your Cooking Oil to grease a skillet or baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Slightly underbaked is key here for the ultimate chewy cookie.
